I was born and raised in China and not knowing my future destiny lies in dentistry. Both of my parents are in healthcare profession and helping people is always the passion of my life since I was young. After completing my undergraduate in China, I was accepted into PhD program from Kansas State University Chemistry Department with a full scholarship. As a chemistry scholar and working in the lab all day long, I realized my real passion is to help people through trusting relationship and direct interaction. I enjoy knowing each individual on a personal level and help them in any way I can. After completing my doctorate degree at K-State and I went on to UMKC School of Dentistry to pursue my dentist dream. To further hone my clinical skills, later I completed a one-year residency program, Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD), at Wichita State University, with advanced training in dental implants. I was fortunate to have Dr. Terry Myers on my side as my mentor throughout my dental career and the precious advice and wisdom he has given. After working in Kansas as an associate dentist for several years, I am excited to call Belton my home and serve our local community. When I'm not in office, I enjoy spending time with my family and our French bulldog, Frank.
